Andrés Goyanes is a Certified Everything DiSC® Practitioner, Certified Cultural Intelligence CQ® Trainer, and Organizational Leadership Consultant

Andrés draws knowledge from his experience of more than 25 years in marketing management roles to help organizations understand how assessing team members’ personalities and communication styles can lead them to work better, smarter, and more effectively.

He holds a Bachelor’s in Marketing from the University of Central Florida, an MBA in Sustainable Business from Marylhurst University, and is a PhD Candidate in Global Leadership at Troy University. DiSC Personality Assessment

As a Certified Everything DiSC® Practitioner, Andrés Goyanes facilitates courses and workshops for private and nonprofit organizations, providing their teams with the knowledge, insight, and actionable strategies to communicate better and more effectively. He regularly conducts workshops for both for-profit and non-profit organizations, who seek to maximize their leadership effectiveness through training and development using DiSC Theory.

CQ® Cultural Intelligence

Andrés experiences as a globally-minded professional prompted him to become a Certified CQ® Trainer by the Cultural Intelligence Center. Armed with this credential, he conducts Cultural Intelligence (CQ) workshops to help people and organizations prepare for expatriate assignments, cross-cultural interactions, and global collaboration projects using a proven framework. His guidance can help individuals develop the knowledge and skills that lead to more effective communication, collaboration, and collective success in a global business environment.

Organizational Leadership

Through his graduate studies at Troy University’s prestigious Global Leadership program, Andrés’ doctoral research focuses on cross-cultural leadership, cultural intelligence, transformational leadership, and soft power/diplomacy. The program focuses on the relationship between leadership, geopolitics, and cross-cultural dynamics—all relevant topics for the development of effective 21st-century professionals.

Volunteer Leadership

Andrés has held various community leadership roles, including President of the American Marketing Association of Central Florida (2008-2009), Founding President of the Rotary Club of International Drive – Orlando (2011-2012), and District Governor for Rotary District 6980 (2022-2023). He also served as Rotary Leadership Institute Director in Central Florida (2023-2025), as well as Assistant Rotary Regional Foundation Coordinator in Rotary Zone 34 (2023-2025).

Higher Education

An avid advocate for education, Andrés has been an Adjunct Professor of International Management at Valencia College since 2022 and previously taught marketing courses at the University of Phoenix’s Orlando Campus (2012-2019). He is also a visiting professor at the Disney College Program, where he teaches leadership and management courses to international exchange students.

Andrés is also a mentor for undergraduate students from the Knights Business Network at the University of Central Florida, and at the Horizon Scholars and U.S. State Department’s Community College Initiative programs at Valencia College in Orlando, Florida. He is also an active public speaker and panel moderator on a variety of business, marketing, and cross-cultural leadership.

Fluent in English and Spanish, with conversational skills in Portuguese and Italian, Andrés enjoys traveling, red wine, and playing guitar. Along with his wife, Veronica, he volunteers throughout the Central Florida community through Rotary, The Salvation Army, and ShelterBox International.
